Jackson Web

Way back in December 1996, some local boys convinced the City of Jackson and the Jackson Chamber of Commerce into funding the start of the Jackson Web project. The idea was that Jackson, Missouri, was community-oriented enough to support a presence on the Internet. Now, 14 years later, the Jackson Web still provides free web presence to local schools, churches, and non-profit organizations. Local business support makes it possible.

The Jackson Web main page lists the current supporters. December is the major renewal time for supporters, and many renewals have already been received. Please let our local businesses know how much you appreciate their participation in the Jackson Web project.

If you know of a local business that should be part of the Jackson Web project, please leave a comment to tell us. Thanks for visiting the Jackson Web.

The Holiday Tree

It is a community loss from which we all suffer since the red-lighted evergreen at the corner of PP and West Jackson Blvd.

Personally, I loved it most on Valentine's Day.

Please share your memories of the red-lighted holiday tree.
